Joni’s Favorite Verse: Acts 20:24

At Kids’ Corner, we’ve been discovering that Joni has lots of favorite verses! One verse that she likes to write under her name when she signs a book for someone is Acts 20:24. It says, “But my life means nothing to me. My only goal is to finish the race. I want to complete the work the Lord Jesus has given me. He wants me to tell others about the good news of God’s grace” (NIrV). It is one of Joni’s favorite verses because this is the way she wants to be. Whenever something hard comes, she doesn’t want to give up or complain about how hard things are. Instead she wants to say, “Yes Lord, what is it that You want me to learn here in this problem? How can I trust You better in this? Help me to use this hard thing to share Your Good News with others.” Do you want to think this way about hard times? Then remember Joni’s favorite verse Acts 20:24!
