But look what little Lisa in the Dominican Republic (a small island nation south of Florida) did – after she saw a picture of Joni drawing with her mouth, Lisa decided to give it a try. Wow, now that shows grit! You might want to give it a try to see how Lisa does it (but be very careful… no swallowing pencils and no biting through crayons)! Hey, we’d like to see your artwork – just send it in to Kid’s Corner here at Joni and Friends!

Meet Amazing Grace!

joni and grace at family retreatI always light up when I meet kids who say, “I'm praying for you, Joni!” That’s what my friend, Grace, told me when I was at our Family Retreat last week in Murrieta Hot Springs. Grace has Down syndrome (and she even has battled cancer). But this little girl LOVES Jesus (and our Kids’ Corner, too). Hey, why don’t you say “hi” to Grace and post a comment to her on the blog?!
