International Outreach

Around the world over 650 million people are affected by disability and many of their families live in poverty, pain, and despair. Joni and Friends is committed to opening new doors of evangelism internationally.

Through in-country training and culturally-sensitive materials, Joni and Friends is equipping people affected by disability in countries around the world to utilize their gifts and talents in their communities.

International Opportunities

Since 2000, Joni and Friends has expanded its involvement in international ministry, in affiliation with like-minded, Christ-centered ministries abroad. To learn more about our international programs, and to find out how you can be involved, click on the links below.

International Family Retreats

International Family Retreats

At an International Family Retreat, special needs families find the same supportive, empowering environment as our U.S. Retreats, in the context of their own country and culture. In partnership with Christ-honoring churches in the local area, families enjoy a week-long retreat filled with biblical encouragement, support, and disability-friendly recreation activities.
