Joni and Friends partners with international ministries to hold Family Retreats in many countries around the world. Family Retreats embrace the entire family, introducing children and their parents to Christ—some for the first time. It’s a time for strengthening family bonds and providing some good old fashioned fun. Each international Family Retreat is designed to be relevant to the families and culture where it takes place.

Total Access

Total Access empowers the national church to be a change agent in society through training members to make schools, homes, hospitals, etc. accessible.

Our Joni and Friends outreach teams are continually confronted with the absence of accessibility in developing nations. Each international outreach reminds us how difficult it is for those with disabilities to get around.

With evangelism as the focus, each team will have Bibles and evangelical materials to hand out. Our in‐country partner churches will handle the evangelism and follow up.

Team MED

Our Team MED ministry addresses the healthcare needs of the international disability community. The goal is three-fold: to equip, empower, and evangelize. Small teams of U.S. medical professionals – doctors, dentists, optometrists, and rehabilitation specialists – volunteer their time to travel abroad and work alongside our international partners, equipping them to better serve people with disabilities in their local communities, while sharing the love of Christ.
