People often say “This is what Heaven must be like…” It’s a week where you can let your hair down and receive rest, encouragement and spiritual refreshment. You will have the opportunity to meet other families and individuals that may be going through the same season of life as you are. Hope will be restored…and you will leave knowing that God does have the perfect plans for you and your family.
 
We can share with you until you are blue in the face about how Family Retreat is so unique from other camps that serve people with disabilities, but you really have to experience it to fully understand how this camp impact lives…and that life, will be yours. We guarantee it!!

Family Prices Volunteer Opportunities
INDIVIDUAL CAMPER: $400

ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERS: $200 each

PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT (PCA): $200 if PCA is in same housing unit as individual or family

PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT (PCA): $400 if PCA is NOT in same housing unit as individual or family

*NOTE: Prices include lodging, meals and all activities. Additional apparel, snacks and souvenirs are separate.

We welcome anyone who loves Jesus and wants to serve Him by serving our families. We currently are looking for the following types of volunteers:
  • Anyone willing to carry a food tray, push a wheelchair, listen and be a friend.
  • Anyone who is a team player and flexible!
*NOTE: Great opportunities for Special Education teachers, Instructional Assts, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, COTAs, RNs, Drs and other medical professionals

*NOTE: Send your church youth groups, small groups, etc. Come for the week OR help at a one time special event!

*NOTE: Serve by donating much needed items for camp: office supplies, snacks, bottled water, items for welcome baskets, etc.

*NOTE: Needs to be 16 yrs and older. If younger, please contact the SFL Area office directly.

*NOTE: We accept “Mother/Child” or “Father/Child” teams upon personal interview conducted by the SFL Area office. Child needs to be at least 12 years and older.
