About This Retreat

Wounded Warrior Getaway is a three-day time of refreshment and renewal for individuals that have served and sacrificed for our country. Hosted by Joni and Friends International Disability Center, this retreat serves Marines and their families by providing family activities, powerful speakers, children’s programs, one-on-one networking, and spiritual refreshment. Wounded Warrior Getaway is held at the beautiful Pines Conference Center in Pine Valley, California.

Room and board for our warrior families is covered by monies designated for Marines from Camp Pendleton who have suffered disabilities as a result of war. Limited space is available.

For Volunteers: Short Term Missionaries (STMs) must arrive one day prior to Getaway (Wednesday, October 17th) for training. Short Term Missionary fee is $350.
