Be part of the experience as El Salvadoreans affected by disability fly kites or sit around a bonfire to hear the gospel told to them, many for the first time, on the beautiful Costa del Sol beach. Hear their giggles as they build friendships and have fun with others touched by disability. Come join our families in exciting activities combined with worship and music to make them feel welcome and celebrated. Serve as a Short Term Missionary (STM) and demonstrate Christian love alongside other dedicated local volunteers to make this retreat a memorable experience for the entire family. Share that distinct joy made known by Joni and Friends family retreats as families affected by disability in El Salvador receive respite care and spiritual nourishment. This retreat is also in conjuction with TeamMED. Physical and Occupational therapists and Special Education teachers, and translators are needed.
