Join us, and our dedicated in country partners, as a Short Term Missionary! You'll be the hands and feet of Christ as you serve on this 4-day retreat that provides physical respite and spiritual nourishment to families affected by disability. Whether you are an experienced Joni and Friends Family Retreat leader, or someone new to disability ministry, this opportunity to serve at the first Family Retreat in Peru is open to you. Translators are also needed. The retreat will be held at the Escuela de Sobrevivencia en el Mar de la FAP (ESMAR) in Ancón, Peru, a seaside resort where persons with disabilities can enjoy Peru’s first accessible beach! There will be VBS style children’s programs, activities for young adults, and group sessions for parents.
