About This Retreat

"Can-ji-ren," means, "persons with disabilities." Join Joni and Friends and our in-country partner as we hold our second JAF family retreat in Shenyang. Serve alongside local volunteers in providing can-ji-ren and their families a safe haven where they can enjoy fun-filled family activities, small group discussions geared towards the strengthening of relationships, and a talent night where they are the stars of the show. You will be blessed as as you help encourage can-ji-ren to realize their potential as individuals who are created in God’s image. Show them by your deeds how valuable and precious they are in God's sight. We welcome everyone to apply and encourage seasoned family retreat STMs to share their experience to new and local volunteers. Mandarin speakers can serve as translators as well.
