Our Mission
The mission of the Christian Institute on Disability is to impact the Church, Christian and public institutions, and societies with a biblical worldview and life-giving truth on issues pertaining to life, dignity, justice and equality that affect people with disabilities.
Our Core Values
Life: All life comes from God the Creator and Sustainer of all things and is therefore sacred. (Gen. 2:7; Col. 2:15-17)
Dignity: Every individual is created in the Image of God and has inherent dignity, value and worth as a person regardless of physical capability and intellectual function. (Gen.1:27)
Justice: The character of God as revealed in Scripture is a God of love, mercy and justice. (Ps.37:5,6)
Equality: Every individual is equal in the eyes of God and should be treated as such. (Rom. 10:12; 1Cor.12:12)
Evangelism: The Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20 mandates that our first and foremost priority in all we do as Christians is to bring all people including those affected by disability to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
