Beyond Suffering Course

Beyond Suffering (Christian Perspectives on Disability Ministry) is a 32-hour certificate program designed to give you, the participant, an introductory understanding of the aspects of disability ministry.

Beyond Suffering is comprised of four thought-provoking modules:

• An Overview of Disability Ministry
• The Theology of Suffering and Disability
• The Church and Disability Ministry
• An Introduction to Bioethics

Participants will learn through lecture, group discussion, video and hands-on experience to evangelize, welcome into the church and empower those affected by disability. This program is designed for ministers, professionals, teachers, volunteers, students and anyone interested in learning more about effective disability ministry.
