C4L Internship - Uganda

Cause 4 Life interns to Uganda will serve over 130 children with various physical and intellectual disabilities at a special needs school in the city of Kampala. In addition to serving in the classroom, you will help with various other programs and help provide training to the teachers, therapists, and caregivers.

Children with disabilities in Uganda are often treated as cursed and outcasts. Many live in total isolation and are excluded from all facets of society. Less than 2% receive education.  Most do not have access to special education, physical therapy, or any kind of rehabilitation to help them move forward physically, emotionally, and mentally. Yet, there is hope for change! Through this Cause 4 Life internship, you can serve as the hands of Christ, and help make a difference.

This internship opportunity is open to students, graduates, and professionals in the field of disability or related fields (special education, physical, occupational & speech therapy, etc.). It is also open to special needs ministry leaders and volunteers.
