C4L Internship - Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, less than 1% of children with disabilities have access to special education or any specialized care. As a Cause 4 Life intern, you can make a difference! Our interns in Ethiopia will serve children with special needs in their classrooms. As part of this internship, we will also provide training for general education teachers, training them to include children with disabilities in their classrooms. We will also train special education teachers to become master trainers, so they can implement ongoing training to help other teachers develop inclusive and special education classrooms. We will be working at schools in larger towns as well as some in rural villages.

For serving in the schools, we are seeking students and graduates in disability or related fields and special needs ministry leaders and volunteers. For master teacher training, we are seeking masters and PhD level special education teachers.
