Wilberforce Weekend Livestream

Why should we care for the vulnerable? Time and time again, the Bible reminds us to look after the needs of others (Phil. 2), open our hand to the poor, speak up for the voiceless (Proverbs 31), and maintain justice (Hosea 12). But how can we do that practically in a world full of conflicting cultures and politics?

It’s an issue many Christians wrestle with. For me, when it came to developing a Biblical worldview on disability, no one influenced me more than my friend, Chuck Colson. He and I served on many committees, and he was key and instrumental in advising me during my tenure on the National Council on Disability — during which time the ADA was drafted, presented to Congress, and signed into law.

Needless to say, I have great respect for those who are carrying Chuck’s torch at The Colson Center. They are like-hearted cohorts in ministry who valiantly promote a biblical worldview on today’s tough issues. It’s why I am so honored to be in Washington, D.C. this weekend for the annual Wilberforce Weekend — and I’d love for you to join me!

Much of the conference will be live-streamed, including my talk this Saturday afternoon (2:30 Eastern Time). You can watch it for free on the National Religious Broadcasters website or on the BreakPoint Facebook page. Friend, you won’t want to miss it, so “tune” in!
