Right now, our Wheels teams are distributing wheelchairs and Bibles in Peru, Cuba, and the Middle East nation of Jordan! They will be serving children with disabilities like Cusmaylin (Koos-MAY-lynn). This little four-year-old is blind and hasn't been able to walk since birth. All day long, Cusmaylin lies on the floor while her mother, Sylvia, works in their home. “I read in the Bible that God can do anything,” Sylvia said, “but here in my country, a wheelchair is only for the rich. Even God can’t change that.” But Luke 18:27 says, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” Recently, that truth came alive through Wheels for the World (and the generosity of friends like you). A miracle was rolled out to Cusmaylin and Sylvia – a spiffy red and white Regency Pediatric Wheelchair with all the bells and whistles, including an attachable desk! And as little Cusmaylin was lifted into it, God’s love and care became as real as the wheelchair itself. Thank you, friend, for giving and praying so that people like Sylvia and her little daughter can be reached with the love of Christ!

Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. I have been thinking about this verse for a while now, ... what a blessing it is to share in the love of our Lord to those less fortunate, Gods heart, Gods hand, Gods love ... we just returned from Cuba and I am not sure who is blessed more, my wife and I or those we helped out in a small way

This is great? Where in Cuba? I am going on a mission trip to Cuba next Friday and we will be working with children with disabilities.

Dear Joni, such acts of mercy deserves more attention in this world than anything else.It has my heart to see how poor people are being reached by the gospel in a practical way.If we know the heart of the Lord,we will know that He delights in showing mercy to those who need it most. There is nothing more in this world which I admire than showing the love of Christ in a simple way. May the work of JAF be blessed by the Lord! San
