Thank you for praying as I spoke to the students at Westmont College early Monday morning – the timing was amazing and I definitely felt it was 'of the Lord' that I was the chapel speaker this week. Just a few days ago, a Westmont student was killed in a motorcycle accident, leaving many of the students feeling bewildered and struggling with questions. I'm so grateful to God I was able to bring a message of comfort and encouragement! Perhaps you are struggling with questions, too – if so, may I recommend my booklet God's Hand in Hardship? And please continue to pray for those students up at Westmont College.

Our children both attended Westmont, so we were pleased that you were to speak at the chapel service. We were sad to hear about the tragedy, but what a God thing that you were there on this precise week! God bless you as you are faithful in reaching out to others....

I will be praying for those students, that they'll know that God is with them. God bless you, Joni.

Dear Joni, when I thought about the comfort you had brought to the students at Westmont College,2 Cor1:4 came into my mind. "Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble,by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God (KJV).
