Meet Wendy and Vyanna

Matt serves in our Response department at Joni and Friends, and his wife, Wendy, is blind (they met as students at Azusa Pacific University). Wendy loves her very helpful guide dog, Vyanna. Last summer Matt and Wendy went hiking in Yosemite, and Vyanna trekked along (here they are taking a break). Earlier this year when we were looking for models to pose for our Luke 14 Mural, Vyanna served as our token guide dog! So a few weeks ago when Wendy and Vyanna toured our IDC, we snapped the proud pup in front of her likeness in the painting – good dog!
