I love seeing the fresh, happy faces of our summer interns as I wheel through the IDC – so meet Victoria (in the beige shirt) and Mary Clark (in white). Both girls just finished their first and second year at Mississippi State University (flying to California right after finals). Victoria is a Special Education major and, among other responsibilities, is helping us organize and execute our West Coast Disability Summit May 18-19. Mary Clark wants to become an occupational therapist – she's learning about disability ministry worldwide, as well as partnership strategies with a focus on our work in Jordan. These young women represent the new face of disability ministry and I absolutely love their passion for Jesus Christ. (By the way, this week Ken and I arrive home from Chuck Colson's memorial service at the Washington National Cathedral… we'll head right for our West Coast Disability Summit. So thank you for praying for fresh energy)!

Welcome Mary and Victoria. What a joy it must be to work at Joni and Friends. Specifically learning more about the field you know Jesus has called you too. Enjoy your summer, have fun and soak up as much wisdom as you can while you are there. Those things will stay with you for the rest of your life. God Bless You. Jim

Joni, you are so beautiful, I read your story years ago and love to see how well you are still doing. Yes, I am sure that with Jesus in the hearts of these two young ladies the will do well in their work. I know that you will be able to teach them a lot of things from all that you know. By the way Chuck Colson and his daughter was at my church last year, talking about his grandson. What a wonderful story that was. We will all miss him for all the wonderful things that he did. Take care and may God bless you in all that you do, Phillip Turner.

Although I might be far in Malaysia but my Mighty LORD Is With you (Jana) & your Team. Whenever I see or read or remember you'll in my prayer, tears of my heart will refresh me because of the faithfulness of "The Eternal Living One," upon each Living Soul in your ministerial team. Keep moving on with your Love Of Christ. My love & hugs to all of you. Shalom
