Today Ken and I are at the office of my medical oncologist – we'll discuss my recent blood tests and PET scan (I'm expecting good reports, all around :-). Also today, I'll receive an infusion of Prolia as part of my routine treatment for cancer – this is one injection I don't mind taking because it's biggest side effect is 'increasing bone mineral density.' Because I am at high risk for fractures, Prolia is a huge bonus – what a creative, wonderful way for God to protect my fragile quadriplegic-bones! It reminds me of Psalm 34:20, "A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken." Now THAT'S a promise to cling to :-)!
