Joni I'm ashamed of myself- I lost track of you for a long time until this past Sunday then I got your two books Joni and your last one. I also ordered your movie today. I haven't been a good Christian. But I'm about to change that quickly. Just got word my nephew was just born minutes ago, and he's 18 inches long. 6 lbs & 10 oz.

What an incredible blessing you are! You are touching so many lives! I am so grateful for the way you have helped me throughout my life-time. I have chronic pain from nerve damage I received from a chemically-induced meningitis (allergic reaction to a antibiotic). I have chronic headaches and eye pain and the meningitis even attacked my internal thermostat so I am always cold. I have also had the struggles of worry and fear. Throughout every struggle and pain, Philippians 4:13 and II Corinthians 12:10 has been my life verses, helping me get through. He has given me incredible strength and power. He has been strong through my weakness. I am so grateful that He has enabled me to serve as a pastor with my husband, even in the midst of all my weakness and pain. You have truly been His messenger - knowing that God can still work through you, even when you are in pain. God doesn't always heal us physically but can work through what ever your weakness/disability is. Thank you for being that witness to me and so many others. Thanks be to God!

Dear Joni - You are a spiritual mentor to me! I work with special needs adults and I have a special needs daughter. You always have a word in season for me that is apt for those challenging times I face for the responsibilities the Lord has entrusted me with. I too am holding you up to the Lord. Just looking at your face on this video I see the light of the Lord's countenance upon you even as you go through this challenge with the cancer. You are a beloved sister in Christ.

Hello Joni and Ken! Discovered your website just recently! Want to thank you for your ministry.... your book "Choices, Changes" has been a great help in the past. We are helping to care for my 85-year-old mother-in-law at the moment. Her weakness being used by the Lord to teach us, her family, a lot about ourselves. It is painful at times, but the Lord is refining us through it! Truly "In all things God works for the good of those who love him!" Greetings from England! Christine

Dearest Joni, I have recently discovered your website and have been reading your books. I will be sending your book "Joni" to a friend's son who recently had an accident which has rendered him as a quadruplegic at age 18. I think that the Lord brought you in my life so that I will be able to help this young man. You are a beautiful woman inside and out and your strong faith and marriage are an inspiration to me. A big hug from Australia!

We are so happy to hear you are approaching the end of the chemo and that you are getting stronger during this Thanksgiving season. The two of you bring to mind my wife's response to my pastor two years ago when he asked her "what three things can you be thankful for during this Thanksgiving season?" As she laid in the nursing home bed learning to use a speaking valve on her trache, she softly replied - "Life, the Lord, and my husband". May we continue to find many things to give thanks to God for. Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

Dear Joni and Ken, I keep you in my prayers each day.May the Lord uphold and sustain you and keep you in the hollow of His loving hand. My favorite verses are Hebrews 12:1-2. Hope you like them, too! May He give you strength and comfort each day. Love in Christ, Barbara
