Wow.. I sure liked watching you and your husband Ken talking together. I recently started dating a lady on disability who told me you were her hero. She's never gotten to see you speak live .. so that's something I need to change. She can't work and God is really growing her painting gift - and she glorifies Him in those cards and paintings... similar to you. Blessings Joni to you and Ken.. you are truly a treasures of God's Kingdom

May this ministry journey to the Bay area be a blessing to you as you share the Word, the love of God, and the awareness of the value of those with disabilities, with all those you meet. Hi Joni your a real trooper thanks to the Lord. I go to Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City Utah and im excites to see the play they are putting on about your life and the hope of Jesus Chtist. My mom left this world on september 10 2007 she lived the last 19 years in a wheel chair. It happened that my mom and dad went on a vacation to spain,my dad is from ther and hadn't seen his brother in 36 years and on the third day ther my mom and dad and my uncle Pepe my dads brother whom I never met got in a car accident.pepe died my dad broke his shoulder and my mom broke her back,she never walked again. I believe that in Gods great love and grace he let my dad see his brother before he died. My mom had allot of chalenges but I believe that the Lord was her strength. Joni please pray for my dad and the rest of the family,they are all LDS. I'm the white sheep of the family ;-) and only by Gods grace.God bless you Joni,you are a real encouragment

stunned to hear 'better dead than disabled' comment. I had polio at age 5 months in 1956 wore a brace and used forearm crutches. I was a reporter covered sports, politics, education. Only once did i have a negative comment. Now i am in wheelchair post polio syndrome and an advocate on issues for disabled. Self serving yes but others will benefit. Need to eradicate polio in india and rwanda, uganda others. I want to get involved!

Thank you Joni and Ken for teaching others that in God's eyes, everyone is important. I have worked with the learning disabled in a Christian school for 18 years and a large part of my work is convincing these children that God has a wonderful plan for their lives and that they are as important to the kingdom as anyone else. Thank you again for championing these precious lives.
