The year 2012 is only days away and, with it, Ken and I will be restarting our annual practice of reading-through-the-Bible-in-a-year. This will mark our fifth year of reading through the entire Bible in 12 months and we are amazed at all the insights God has given us through this wonderful Bible-reading habit (listen to Ken and I talk about it on a recent radio program). This past year, we used a chronological reading plan, and Ken and I both agree it really made the redemption story come alive in a fresh way.

We challenge you to join with us in 2012 by committing to use the chronological reading plan I've posted on my radio page. Should you decide to take the challenge, let me know either by posting a message on my radio page or Joni's Blog – this way, Ken and I can be praying for you as together we get deeper into God's Word in 2012!

So excited to use a chronological reading plan! Thank you for making this schedule available. For the first time in 34 years of marriage, my husband and I will be reading through the Bible together!!

I listen to you every morning on my way to work, and today you ( and God) compelled me to decide to do this. I am not good at following things through so prayers will help. Thanks for being such an amazing inspiration. I remember reading your book when I was a kid, I feel like I grew up knowing you.

We read through the Bible in 2011 but not 2012. We want to do it in 2013. What version of the Bible do you recommend? We used the New Living Translation in 2011.

I wanted to read or buy a chronological bible but i have all kinds of bibles so I was going to try to figure it out by myself, but yesterday on WFCJ RADIO in Miamisburg, OH I heard your broadcast and bless the LORD THERE YOU WHERE WITH IT. So it showed me that the Lord was wanting me to do this.

I find it hard to stay on track. My understanding of the Bible is limited, any advise would be great! Thanks

I read though the Bible with my church in 2011 using the chronological reading plan. First time experience for me and I learned so much! Looking forward to reading though the Bible with you in 2013. Joni, you and Ken have been such a blessing in my life. May the Lord continue to richly bless you and your ministry. Thank you, Eunice Sellers

I plan to do this in 2013. I have never read the Bible through and think chronological will bring the Bible to life in a way that it will help me to know the order of things. I like order.
