joni and ken celebrating her 63rd birthdayOn this last day of October, I am 'over the top' with thanksgiving to God for all of you who participated in my "Birthday Gift" with a gift of $63!! Together, more than $7,400 was raised, and this means many more kids with disabilities, and adults, too, will receive a wheelchair, the Word of God, and a chance to hear the Good News of Jesus! And it wouldn't be happening, were it not for you. "May the Lord repay you for what you have done," says Ruth 2:12, "May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel." And that, friend, was written for you!

I discovered this Blog only today. So, belated 63rd Birthday Blessings to you, Joni. I was recently blessed when I received a gift of your book "Finding God in Hidden Places". I thank God for the light and love of Jesus Christ that shines through you, as you bless His other children with the ministry of Joni and Friends, in His service. May God bless you with much joy in your heart, this day and always.

I praise God for your Birthday, your rebirth and for all He has done through your obediance. It boggles my mind to watch Him display His power using someone who can only move a fraction of her body. But Oh! How that enlightened soul moves mountains here on earth. I hope in Heaven you will comprehend all your journey has done for those of us blessed to watch you. We're gonna boogie uo there together girl! May Blessings abound.

Happy birthday Joni. I first read your book on my first work experience night shift when I was 16. You have seemed like a close friend ever since despite never having met you. Now my girls love to listen to your music. You have kindly sent us gifts of books and CDs in the past and Eve my youngest daughter loves to listen to Spirit wings. Delighting in The only thing I want is to be with Jesus. As she is terminally ill this touches us deeply. I have also bought two of the hymn books with CD. Worship the King and when morning guilds the sky which we all love. Eve now also enjoys passion Hymns for a child's heart. Recently we were visited by make a wish. Eve would live to go to Disney World. As she cannot fly it would be Paris. But one of her other wishes was to sing with Joni. Have a wonderfully blessed birthday dear friend. xxxxx
