Six-year-old Annadelce had a high fever which left her disabled when she was very young. Abandoned by her mother four years ago, Annadelce’s grandmother, Gabriela, raises her instead. Her father is not around and has a new wife and family.
Gabriela works hard to provide for all Annadelce’s needs but struggles to make ends meet. When Gabriela goes to get firewood, she must leave Annadelce all alone. Gabriela lays her down on a board on the floor and it’s not comfortable for Annadelce. Annadelce needs a wheelchair but Gabriela knows she’ll never be able to afford one…
But everything changed, because of you, at a recent Wheels for the World distribution in Guatemala. Annadelce received her very own pediatric wheelchair that fit her perfectly. It is a gift that will bring her into the light and sunshine once again and display the love God has for her. She will now be part of her community and no longer on the floor. Also, a Bible and a Joni book were given to Annadelce in her language.
Because of your faithfulness and generosity, Annadelce now sits with joy and dignity, instead of lying on the ground. Smiling from ear to ear, her life is now full of hope and promise… all thanks to you! Give the gift of hope today!
