Our Joni and Friends/Bay Area team is heading this week to Thailand, a predominantly Buddhist nation that includes more than 6 million people with disabilities. From January 18 - February 3, our Wheels for the World team will be distributing wheelchairs, Bibles, and Joni's book in the Thai language, giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people with disabilities and their families. Part of our Joni and Friends team arrived in-country early last week to solidify plans for an International Family Retreat to be held in February – in conjunction with this retreat, our Total Access crew of construction workers will be 'demonstrating' Gospel access by widening doorways and pouring concrete ramps, all to showcase how accessible the love of Christ truly is. Over the next three weeks, join us in praying for this comprehensive and coordinated outreach, asking the Holy Spirit to open hearts to the Savior's love.
