All of us at the IDC agree – we love the fresh, young, eager faces (and passionate hearts) of our summer interns. Recently we enjoyed having Meredith who attends the University of Florida. Meredith will soon be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – she’s also a Reitz Undergraduate Scholar! Because of her own cerebral palsy, this exceptional young woman with the great smile has a deep desire to translate all that she’s learning into a career that combines disability and her love for Jesus Christ. Do you know someone who would enjoy serving as an intern with Joni and Friends? Get all the info on our Cause4Life page… we think it could be a great match to benefit all!

Wow! What a great picture. And Intern Meredith is a real sunbeam; I'm sure she's blessed to be working at Joni and Friends, and you are blessed by her energy, too! Enjoy what's left of summer!

Dearest Joni and Ken, After a sleepless night I am energized and encouraged in the Lord. I spent much of the wee hours of this morning listening to you both speak via youtube. My eyes are a bit swollen from the tears that I shed but my heart is overflowing. Overflowing with thankfulness for your faithfulness. Faithfulness for so many years under difficult personal circumstances. So many, sadly including myself, had seasons of wandering away from the loving side of the Shepherd and yet, you remain faithful in spite of your trials. I thank the Lord for you both. God bless you and I promise my prayers! Keren

Dear Joni, as I have watched how life goes,it struck me that people who are hurt by life´s circumstances can show a inner beauty that is beyond the human. It is a life from God that reflects the character of our Lord Jesus. In that respect we can welcome life as a way of learning to be like Jesus. Blessings to you all! San
