cause 4 life interns

Ministering among special-needs families is one of the most rewarding experiences you could possibly enjoy! It’s why we encourage you to consider signing up for one of our Cause 4 Life internships. There are lots of opportunities posted on our Cause 4 Life page, but we want to especially highlight our Cause 4 Life Missions and Ministry Academy this coming summer. MMA is designed to energize a new generation of Christian leaders for global missions, social justice and advocacy on behalf of people affected by disability around the world. MMA is an eight-week internship that will truly change your life. You’ll experience classes and lectures with disability experts, hands-on service at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center, participating in local church ministries, serving at our southern California Joni and Friends’ Family Retreat and, finally, a disability-mission trip to Haiti. Scholarships are even available, so pray about joining us!

I was so glad to see this on F.B. For a number of years I had listened to Joni on a local Christian Radio Station, WPOS, in Holland, Ohio. It ususally came on while I was getting ready for work. Work hours changed & I found that Joni's program didn't come on at the same time I was getting ready for work. Have missed listening to her. Always enjoyed her program & felt it give me a lift for the day. Now I can not only hear her, but also learn more about the International Dissabilities Center & all it's ministries. Love of Christ

Dear Joni In March of 99 a friend of mine gave me a book wrote by you called Diamonds in the Dust a daily devotion. I have been reading it everyday since then. I'm on a fixed income and can not afford to buy a new one. I just wanted to say thank very much for writing this book it has been a life saver for me. Thank you.. Laurie McDonald

Is there a way to do the MMA without doing the trip to Haiti? Because of my rare illness I am unable to travel to 3rd world countries.

I got a letter from this site, in the mail, and was encouraged to join a ministries through our church to visit retirement homes, or rehabilitation centers. My pastor said this was a confirmation, and my first service that I am helping with is on January 7. God bless you Joni and friends. We love you. Your friend, Bryan
