joni and her sister kathyLast week, not only were our Joni and Friends teams in town, but so was my sister Kathy – my wonderful sissy with whom I grew up sharing a bedroom, blouses and beach-camping sleeping bags. When we were kids on the farm, we organized the HD Club (short for Horse and Dog Club). It had three members and Kathy was the vice president (I was too young to hold an office). I won't ramble on about our wonderful childhood escapades, but if you're interested, read all about it and more in The God I Love. While Kathy was in California, we took a day off and headed to California Adventure Park and Disneyland – in case you're wondering, it's Kathy holding the videocam (and screaming)in that little home movie over on Joni's Corner. Her visit was refreshing and sheer fun – and what's more, she's reading-through-the-Bible-in-a-year along with us (and many of you, too).

With pleasure, I remember building your first ramp and the one for your wedding. Time flies and we are blessed with the same LORD! I lost my Peggy and now The Lord has led Ruth and I together. We both wish you the best. I remember talking with your father,which I enjoyed so much. Time has found us in a retirement home in Florida. We still are inspired by you and still love you. The God I LOVE...probably my favorite of all the books you have written because it gave me a glimpse into YOU...AND the God you love! Thanks, Joni!

Joni, I have that book! My shelves overflow with books. I'm glad to loan them out. And God grants me His Green Pastures time every so often He 'maketh' me to lie down. And then I read :-) Thank you for sharing your life with us! My 97 y.o. friend Claudia at church told me she might die before church, so I got a Christian fill in the blank book "Me Myself & I AM." I jotted on a notepaper that I want to be like her when I grow up (I'm 56 :-) And I drew the I Love You sign she does. And I asked her to share her life with me. My pastor's wife took it home to give it to her this week. ♥Life is precious♥

Hi, I have gone through the book "Joni - An Unforgettable Story". Its really an encouraging story. It strengthened my trust in JESUS. I am planning to give them to my friends too. Really excited to see you and your sister.

I just watched your California Adventure video clip! What a blessing, and yes, they make it look so easy!( I was wondering if we would ever be able to bring our kids with wheelchairs there, good to see they've thought of everything!) God is so good to give us spontaneous moments of FUN! HE'S thought of everything!

I don't think I have laughed soooo hard with you in a long time!! What fun! And what a good reminder! Dear Joni, it is fun to see you and Ken in the Ferris wheel,with Kathy. It is certainly a recommendation for Disneyland for its accessibility to wheel- chairs.
