Samuel’s Story

Just three years ago, Samuel’s world seemed narrow and small – as a young man with autism, he lacked the ability to communicate with the ‘outside world.’ He finally ‘connected’ through a word board, and his parents discovered that their son possessed an extremely bright intellect. Samuel managed to make up for all his lost time in school and, just recently, he passed his Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – He has been accepted to California Lutheran University and The Master’s College. Thought you’d like to see Samuel heading off to his recent high school formal with his friend, Lisa, who also has autism and communicates with an iPad. Way to go, Samuel and Lisa!
