Recording Day Prayer Requests

Living in this quadriplegic body is not getting any easier, but I echo Paul’s sentiments, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me.” Like this apostle, I want to squeeze every ounce of life out of this frail body God has given me, for the sake of seeing Christ more glorified. And it’s why I’m asking you to pray for the long day I have tomorrow in the radio recording studio. Once again, I want the brief messages I record to encourage people like Linda, who wrote to me saying:

“I have a chronic illness that has been getting worse and giving me great heartache and sorrow. But again and again you point me back to who we are in Christ, our source of help and comfort in the storms, and our final destination. That gives me hope.”

That is what motivates me! So friend, will you please ask God to give me a strong voice tomorrow, and a reprieve from my chronic pain? And while you are praying for me, would you pray for Linda and all who tune in for those few short minutes of Joni and Friends Radio? From all of us, a great big thank you!
