Quad Lawn Mowing

My quadriplegic-friend, Don, has lived in a wheelchair for over 40 years, and he recently sent me the funniest photo – it shows him mowing his lawn, complete with leisure umbrella, a hitch, and a power-mower rumbling along behind! Hey, I only wish my lawn were as big so I could try it (then again, I’ll leave that responsibility with Ken). What I admire most about Don is his sense of humor, indomitable spirit, and his love for Jesus – last month Don and his wife Mary attended our Joni and Friends Minnesota Family Retreat where he had a chance to impart his confidence in Christ to many others. I am proud of Jesus in you, Don!
