A Pumpkin Present

To help celebrate my upcoming birthday, my friend Judy Squier gave me a white pumpkin with lots of heartwarming encouragements which she penned in beautiful colors! Judy included my favorite quotations, Bible promises and verses. I have known this remarkable woman ever since the 1980s – then as now, I’ve always been drawn to her kicky, upbeat attitude. She may be a double amputee and a wheelchair-user, but my friend is best known for her unflappable joy in the Lord. Judy has been a faithful partner with Joni and Friends for many years, especially serving on the leadership teams at Family Retreats. Judy has written a wonderful book called Living in the Names of God: His Majesty and Me – consider getting a copy; you’ll be wonderfully blessed!
