Dear Joni and Friends, for over a year now I've been suffering from back and nerve issues in my back. Walking has been extremely difficult as well as the pain. I am going thru different procedures to see if they work and applying for medical disability thru my company. I'm asking for prayer in many ways, my health, financially, and spiritually. In every way I need the Lord's help and peace. I don't want to be a burden to anyone but admit at times I feel like I am. I'm single and living back home with my elderly Mom and Dad who need my help and care. Please pray that the Lord may intervene so I am not a burden to them, and a blessing instead.

Thank you Ken for sharing this with us. I am going through my second round of brain cancer. I wrote Joni last year and she was so gracious in writing back. Her letter came at a time when I was so low. She has been instrumental in my journey. I read her devotional, Diamond in the Dust daily. I know my husband of 31 years has been so supportive and we have grown more in love as we are on this journey. I am thankful to God for allowing me to be a voice to my friends, family and people I don't even know. It is to Him I give all the glory and honor to. I will be on chemo this whole year, but it is part of the journey and I will finish the race with endurance and praise. Please tell Joni hi for me. I missed her when she was in Orlando I wasn't feeling well, but I know she touched many and gave many hope. God Bless You both!! Kimi Gaines

Hi, I've always offered prayer for Joni whenever I thought it her. But I never thought Ken would need prayer also. I've just added Ken to my Prayer list. May God truly Bless and strengthen you both. Bill

How marvelous the strength of both Ken and Joni Tada. I know that it is only by God's grace that they are able to cope and do it well. My husband is in a wheelchair and I am hobbling on a cane due to my third hip replacement and a replaced pelvis. It is very hard at times to keep going and I must admit I often give into defeat but Oral Roberts ministry has uplifted me with this thought (and many other good ones I may say) that Jesus defeated Satan at the cross. Of course I already knew that but the way that it is stated in their monthly newsletter is so enriching, what we have in Christ is making all the difference in my life. I sat here crying listening to Ken speak of his devoted love to Joni and hers to him as well. Amazing just amazing grace and love. I do have to say that Ken Tada has to be an an extremely giving and obedient man, a rare find these days.
