When I was watching that video. I thought about Tom. He was my companion for thirty years. We couldn't marry because we were not physically able to make a living. Tom taught me about the Lord. And how to be in the attitude of pray all of this time. He is in Heaven now.

I didn't realize you had been diagnosed with cancer. I too recently had surgery for Breast Cancer. A special friend sent your blog to me as a way of encouraging me. I too have felt my prayer time with God become a special time for me. I enjoy the time I spend with Him. His word reaches out to me. And He has given me an opportunity to share with people that I haven't had before. Thank you for the Christian witness that you've lived for so many years. God has used you in a powerful way. I pray that He will continue to use me and my life as I go through this stage of my life.

Joni and Ken -I appreciate you both so much! Thru the years I have often thought how much I would love to live near CA so I could work with your organization & have the opportunity to meet you and work side by side with such amazing children of God... but God has a plan here in MD for me, I only hope I am fullfilling it as well as you are fullfilling your calling!! Joni I had the opportunity to see you in '83 at the Nazarene World Youth Congress in Mexico. I have always considered it an honor to have been blessed to be so close to you! Ken I have always thought what a special blessing and what a special man you are, a woman longs to be loved by a man and it is plain to see that is the case with you!! I also feel blessed to have a husband who loves me I feel secure that he will be with me thru all things! Thank you for sharing this!!! It made me cry to hear you accept the fact that Joni is the greatest gift God has given you... I believe you are both blessed to have each other! Reina

Thank you, Joni and Ken, for showing this awesome testimony of God's love and faith tested by "fire"! Great is Thy Faithfulness, dear Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ--We praise and thank you for these two very special people to the lives of so many of us. May the Lord continue to bless, grow and inspire you as you share with and inspire us! With the precious love of Christ, keep on keepin' on!

I know I must sound redundant but I just love you guys. You bless me afresh each time I hear either one of you and this was a special treat to hear dear, sweet Ken's loving heart toward dear, sweet Joni. God knew what He was doing when He made THIS matched pair. Thank you for sharing your lives, a glimpse of your home, your way with one another. I wish I could adequately convey how deeply this post touched me. Thank you for living it and letting us in.

Thank you so much for the precious lesson about prayer! Prayer is something the Lord is calling me to more and more, especially to encourage people in our church to take prayer more seriously, both individually as well as corporately. So thank you so much for helping me, for reminding me that part of prayer is also listening prayer. You are such a blessing to me, both of you, I am so sorry that I haven't told you this before! God's blessing on you both!
