A Place of Healing bookHave you ever asked the question, "If God can heal me, why won't He?" How do we navigate the agonizing distance between such a magnificent yes and such a heartbreaking no? In this personal account of Joni’s own struggle with chronic pain, she offers you her perspective on divine healing, God’s purposes, and what it means to live with joy. Suffering can make us bitter or compassionate; it can drive us away from God or push us into His arms. If you are enduring physical pain, financial loss, or relational grief, Joni and Friends invites you to process your pain with Joni. In A Place of Healing, Joni takes you on an intimate journey through foundational questions about healing, suffering, pain, and hope. Get a copy for yourself, or give one to a friend who’s looking for biblical encouragement, hope, and practical advice in the midst of pain and suffering.

I hear you and your husband on Focus on the Family this morning. I praise God for you and your loving husband's beautiful testimony. God bless you both and I pray that He will continue to use you for His Glory for many more years to come. I also pray for a healing for your cancer. In the Love of Jesus.

This book was wonderful. I read it and instantly felt that SOMEONE had been listening! Joni is open, honest and gives answers that enlighten and most of all encourage. When God chooses to allow us to suffer it is for a higher purpose: his glory. Healing WILL come for some here, for many of us it will come in Heaven. Until that day I press forward knowing His healing of my soul is so much more important than my body.

Dear Joni, Some time ago I have read your book "A Place of Healing".It has encouraged me and it seems to me,what kind of suffering we must go through, some aspects of suffering are the same whether it is physical or psychological or spiritual. Only Jesus knows the depth of our suffering. My experience is that suffering can go so deep beyond my own imagi- nation of what is possible. And that is your experience too.And to realise that Jesus has gone deeper than anyone has, fulfills me with joy and love for our Saviour.
