joni and kenHi, this is Ken here. I asked Joni if I could take over her blog today, because there’s something I want to say about my wife. I am so proud of her. Monday July 30th will mark 45 years that she’s lived as a quadriplegic. I don’t know anyone who has handled it with such courage. God has blessed Joni with such incredible health (I feel funny saying that knowing she’s had cancer and deals with pain daily, but it’s true, she’s in great health). I know it would bless her if you would send a word of encouragement as she looks to the future (I know she likes to look at her blog). First Corinthians 1:8 says that “He will keep you strong to the end…” and I'm believing that Joni has many more years of service ahead of her. Also, be sure to read the note she wrote – thanks for cheering her on with your prayers and support for this ministry, for I know it means a lot to my wonderful wife. I sure do love her!

Hi Joni and Ken, Whenever I need a boost, I log into your web site and always get a pick-up. I think there should be a special celebration for Ken, your faithful husband. He is such an inspiration. God must really love you Joni to bless you with a mate with a heart as big as Ken's. I'm sure we all love him very much. Blessings to both of you, Mary

Dear Ken and Joni ~ I am here because I just finished reading your very first book Joni, and I just wanted to learn a little more about you in recent years. It was a blessing to my heart to read of God's dealings with you in those early days of your *new life* that HE had hand-picked you for. What an encouragement you have been to my heart and to many others the world over! Keep on looking to our Precious Saviour...HE will faithfully keep you throughout all HE calls you to. I am so thankful for HIM and for HIS perfect work on my behalf. HE alone is worthy of all our praise. Thank you for sharing your lives with all of us. In HIS Love, Camille (in Canada) Isaiah 26:3-4

Joni, you look amazing! But even better is your amazing spirit that enables you to live each day to bring glory to God. It has been a blessing knowing you through your art, your writings, and your radio programs all these years. God bless you and Ken!

I am just amazed how Joni is so encouraged by all the obstacles she face in life. Sometimes we as human complain about what we do not have. I have learned from you to be grateful for what i have. God has truely smiled on you. May God continue to bless you with many more years in the ministry.

Joni, you have been a daily inspiration to me and now my husband. We have enjoyed and grown through your devotionals. I was recently diagnosed with A.L.L. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I have an amazing family and friends giving me unbelievable support. Just wanted you to know that your faithful constant walk inspires me. Hugs!

Wow what an encouragement! I've been a quad for a little over 12 1/2 years and I sometimes can't believe it's been that long. Thank you for all you do keep up the great work.

Joni - you have blessed my life (met you at NAE national convention in early 80's) and your writings have encouraged me as well as the many others I have passed them on to - you are being used as one of His great spokesmen for these desperate days. Keep it up, please - God bless!

It is wonderful to see a modern godly woman living out her faith so consistently. May the plan that God had 45 years ago continue to bless you and others.

I was a teenager when I first read your book. Your testimony encouraged and challenged me then and your continuing faith and joy still does. God is good - thank you for reminding us of this :)
