Painting for God's Pleasure

Having ridden horses for years, I understand equines. On the way to work, I sometimes pass the Old Agoura show ring and admire riders exercising their horses. It makes me think of the glorious Day when I’ll be able to ride again (I love how Revelation 19:14 describes Jesus returning to Earth on a white horse, with thousands of saints following on their horses, too). I think horses are one of God's most magnificent creations, and this rendering I call Watercolor of the Run is my attempt to show the power, grace and dynamism of a horse’s run (I thought that the fluid, wet strokes of watercolor brushes would convey more motion). By the way, the Joni and Friends team has reproduced this painting into a beautiful print with a black-wood frame, ready for the wall or table top. It means a lot to this artist that JAF has put up several other of my paintings in our store. Take a look :-).

Joni painted a picture several years ago and on the painting was written I live because He first loved me Jesus said that! Do you have this painting? May I purchase it? I had it years ago and have misplaced it.

Joni I have followed you ministry since I was a young girl and first heard of your accident and how you have overcome and ministered to so many through out the years. I later had the blessing to hear you speak when you visited Albuquerque a few years ago. I remember being so thankful that God has given you the ability to minister to others not only through your words but also through your painting. When I saw "The Run" it spoke to my heart. I am honored to be able to have your print to remind me of God goodness and blessing. I am a horse lover and owner and my dream is to have a therapeutic riding stable to use my own horses to minister to others. Thank you Joni for your ministry and I pray the continues to bless you. Joni, I came to hear you speak in Lansdale PA., in 1978 or '79. Your books, paintings, radio program, ..ie..Life has been an inspiration to me ever since. again I just wanted to say thankyou. P.S. you signed your book for me when I first met you. Since then, I gave that book to someone whom I thought needed it at the time. Love and prayers to you and your family.
