For years I've been longing to create something personal and powerful to help people dealing with pain or deep discouragement, and now, I'm so glad I can offer two brand-new resources – one is a DVD/Bible study called How Can God Help You Deal with Chronic Pain, Disability & Illness; the other DVD/Bible study is God's Comfort When You Are Discouraged and Fear the Future. These videos are from an interview I did on The John Ankerberg Show with Dr. Michael Easley, professor emeritus of Moody Bible Institute (he has degenerative disc disorder). I'm convinced these excellent DVDs and Bible studies will help anyone wrestling with pain or discouragement. So if you are struggling with pain, or you know someone who needs encouragement, these DVDs and studies are for you, “For God hears the cry of the afflicted” (Psalm 10:17).

My dear Joni,again I want to thank you for your help.I see you have dvdd,s and study book which I am goin to buy asap.You send me 1 of your books a few monthes ago for nothing I was so taken aback that you done that and so blessed I brought a book of yours too.You are such an inspiration to me ans its so very rare that someone unerstands chronic pain which I live with everyday Bless you honey andKen xx.

They (the doctors) cannot find the root of my abdominal pain and soooo many times I have just wanted to ....well, give up really. but something keeps me going. The medication helps but the depression is staggering. I saw this and wanted to check in with someone...anyone.

Dear friend and soul sister, this is an amazing resource. I am so blessed to know you and Ken and watch your lives from a far and through your books, radio, and video. This is going to be one of your all time most powerful resources as people can actually see the vulnerable, heart felt person that you are. We can all relate to that very real, open confession of a hearts cry in the darkest moments of your life. Thank you dear sister for making this available to all of us. I have been seeking this kind of help for years. I am disabled, live on SSDI, and had back surgery May 16. I am still recovering. I have had deep depression for many years. I am very interested in this bible study and would like to teach/show the DVD at my church as there are several of my brothers and sisters who struggle with the same thing.

I am wiping tears. Suffering is not easy. It is very gracious of you to share these deep things with others. Thereby comforting as you have been comforted. Thanks be to God. Joni--I am buying these DVDs & bible studies! You are amazing. You caught my attention years ago & left a wonderful impression. I was healthy & independent until 2005 (I was 50 yrs old). Long story short, I have an incurable cancer that has caused spinal cord damage & I now have several *issues* as well as both immense pain AND discomfort (they're different). My damage is at the T8. I can hardly walk with a walker & I don't function well from the waist down. I am having a time dealing with things both emotionally & physically. I do have great love & faith for God & have never been angry-just confused & frustrated with the situation. I *try* to micmick your joy, sweetness, & faith but I can't. I'm sure that your bible study & DVD will help. I pray it does. I know God has placed you & your study right here, right now, to help me (& of course others). Thank you, Joni, for your obedience to God! He's using you for all of us who learn of you. God Bless you soooo very much. You are an angel.

Thank-you , Joni for letting God use you! You bless me over and over...giving God's words of encouragement. Blessings! We go over the Bay Bridge in Md and as I look over at Sandy Point Park I many times think of you. I would have only been one year old when you had your accident. You have inspired me though in so many ways! Thanks!
