Cause 4 Life Webpages Have a New Look

Cause 4 Life Global Missions and Internships is starting the New Year with a fresh new look!

For the last eight years, Cause 4 Life has strived to influence students and young professionals through hands-on disability ministry training and education inspired from God’s Word. Through summer internship programs and international mission trips, many eyes and hearts have been opened to the desperate need to reach those affected by disability with love, compassion, and hope that flow from a relationship with God. Cause 4 Life leadership has seen the fruit that comes from interns who grow in a ministry of compassion towards others. Interns have experienced the joy from recognizing how being broken and willing to follow the Lord’s lead creates a way for God to bring hope to so many who suffer.

“’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” -2 Cor. 12:9

In recognizing the bountiful fruit that comes from this approach to ministry, Cause 4 Life has developed a new purpose statement. It reflects the desire to generate God’s love, compassion, and hope for the disabled in the hearts of those serving as Joni and Friends interns, so that they might become ambassadors wherever the Lord may lead. Visit the new Cause 4 Life webpage to view the new purpose statement and also see some exciting new content! Internship applications are now being accepted for the 2016 programs.

Gwen is really enjoying her internship she began in January out in CA with Joni & Friends. She has such a heart for people with disabilities. We pray the Lord uses her in a mighty way! Joni's devotional books really ministered to me when Gwen was going through her Leukemia 'battles'. THANK YOU JONI! Lots' of notes in the books were made.

I enjoy your daily devotionals and also the posts on my Facebook page about all of the wonderful ways you are reaching out to others with disabilities. I especially liked Michael's story; Oh, my what he has gone through and at such a young age. It's inspiring to see how God has touched his life and now he is giving back to others.
