In this video, see a drawing Joni did of her father carving a piece of wood on a camping trip. Joni shares her process for creating the drawing and tells how the picture of her father at work is also a picture of the way the Heavenly Father works in our lives.

What a blessing sister. I hope you can come and visit Maryland again some day, and perhaps drop by Bishop Cummins. Would love to worship our Savior and Father with you and your hubby, in Spirit and truth. Thank you Joni for drawing this, and for sharing your heart. I am smiling and edified in my soul from your love for Christ, and gift. All for the Cross. Gal. 6:14 Love, Don

Dear Joni, you can do something with your paint- ing talent which most people with healthy hands cannot do.Imagine you who is confined to a wheelchair, what you were able to do if you were healthy. That will be the case in heaven. You will display all your talents unto the honour of our Lord. You are multitalen-ted despite your restrictions.I hope so that people will see the hand of His love through your life. The Father is carving us in order that people may see the love of Jesus who lives in us.To be persevering despite your restrictions which are very serious, you are a po- werful witness of the living God,Jesus Christ. Blessings to you and Ken!

"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace. Who bring glad tidings of good things" Romans 10:15 That describes you Joni. Knowing our heavenly Father will be holding your hand through these days. For He said, "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." Praying for you real hard Joni. Darlene

I was just placing a comment and lost it but I was saying that I have been following you and your life since you went public many years ago. You always inspire me and I can't wait to get to heaven and be with you and see you whole and out of that wheel chair. I paint some and I look forward to painting scenes with you and you will be able to use your hands again. You have just wonderful talent and to do the beautiful scenes and other paintings with your teeth, It is a GIFT from God. I just learned about your cancer. I have you on my prayer list and will pray for you on a daily basis for your healing and as you go thru Chemo. Wish I could take it for You. God loves you and so do I!!!!May God KEEP blessing you.

All I can say is WOW. Your drawings never cease to amaze me Joni. I was able to watch the video last night. I was lying in bed really early this morning and I started thinking about the drawing of your dad and suddenly I had my own interpretation that came to my mind. With the unfinished tip of the knife it reminded me how God is NEVER finished carving away the old and ugly from our lives until the day he comes back, and we are made perfect in his image. I also think that it would be nice to make cards out of the drawing and make them available in one of your Newsletters that you send out monthly. I will definitely buy them. What a remarkable testimony about who God is.

Just a comment of your wonderful picture of your Dad and his carving. Joni you said that you hadn't finished the blade of the knife -- and it could be the glint of the sun -- because you had said the picture was also a picture of your Heavenly Father, the glint of the sun maybe also the reflection of the Son.
