More on "Alone yet Not Alone"…

Even though the Oscars are behind us (as well as controversy), people continue to show great interest in this lovely ballad about the faithfulness of God through our trials. Some people have inquired about sheet music for choral groups or individual performance – the songwriters are working on that, I am told. Others, however, have gone ahead and created worship videos – this is the most recent one I've seen. All in all, this haunting melody echoes God's powerful promise in Hebrews 13:5 where He pledges, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Now that's a promise to hold onto when you're feeling alone in your struggles. With God, you are never alone!

I have just finished reading Alone yet not Alone, and to be quite honest I could not put the book down until I had finished it. This is truly a book full of rich blessing and encouragement. I have also listened to Joni singing the theme and felt that I could float on the song. I cannot wait for the DVD which I have ordered from amazon. May the Lord richly use the film and the song to reach all who need to feel the hand of God about them.

Again and again, I can listen to this song and be totally awestruck at the beauty of, not only your voice but by the message! There have been many times that I have stumbled, and cried out and He has always been there!

Every time I hear this song, I cry. I cry because its so easy to forget that we are never alone. Your angelic voice brings grace to the music and it shines. Thinking of you .
