wftw thailandNakuhn and her little son Onecharlerm are tribal people – shunned and without rights or standing of any kind in Thailand. They are considered unworthy and “the least of these.” Nakuhn wrapped her little boy in a sling around her waist and boarded a bus at 11 PM to travel over 250 kilometers through the night. She arrived at our Wheels for the World distribution at 6:30 AM tired and hungry, yet full of hope. For although Nakuhn is an outcast in this country, she is a Christian. Her hope lies in her Heavenly Father and in the love of people just like you. “I praise God for you,” she said softly to our Wheels team member as little Onecharlerm was lifted gently into one of our brand new Regency Pediatric Wheelchairs. As Onecharlerm grows, Nakuhn will no longer have to carry him. The wheelchair will enable them to travel comfortably to receive the medical treatment her little boy needs so much. Nakuhn said to our team, “From you, the love of God has done all this for us. My prayer will be with the ones who made this possible.” And, friend, as you give and pray, she means you!

Dear Joni, I have a dear friend from Thailand. We met at work where we both were teacher's aides in the Special Education Department at a High School. She applied for the job to be there for her special needs son to help translate for him. She has told me of the way her Country treats those with special needs. I will forward her this wonderul news from Wheels for the World. She is a Buddist and I pray one day she will come to know our Reedemer and Savior Jesus. You are such an inspiration to so many Joni. Thank you for up-dating us on your pain level I have wondered and prayed since reading about it a while back. You and Ken are in my prayers. Grateful to God for you and your many ministies, Diane
