Meet Our IDC Docents

These wonderful women serve as ‘tour guides’ for visitors to the IDC from out-of-state, from local churches, homeschool groups or Christian schools (this photo was snapped after our Docent Appreciation Luncheon last week). Our trained docents lead folks through our headquarters and do an excellent job of raising disability awareness, and explaining everything from Family Retreats, the Christian Institute on Disability, to Wheels for the World. I love it when they bring groups into my office where I have a chance to share my excitement about reaching for Christ the world’s 1 billion people with disabilities. Then, it’s on to my art studio for a few art lessons (and a box of Crayola crayons for any kid 12 and under :-). Do you plan to be in Southern California on business or vacation?
