The Longest Living Quad?

Take a minute and meet Charles Webb and his wife, Eva Marie, in this amazing video. In 1958, 16-year-old Charles broke his neck and became a quadriplegic. Thankfully, he had a wonderfully supportive family, and rallied to go on to college, finish law school, and become a successful attorney in Florida. It means the world to me personally that Charles and Eva Marie support Joni and Friends. Now in his 70s, he is dealing with pressure sores and other complications, but when I talk to him on the phone, his smile comes shining through. Should God place it on your heart, pray the Lord will heal this amazing Christian brother (he’s pretty much bedridden, but would love to be back up in his wheelchair and back to work) – don’t forget to watch his video, then post a few words of encouragement to Charles on my blog!
