joni and kenoncover of a place of healing book

While at Westmont College on Monday, I met Kenon who works on campus. I had sent her my book A Place of Healing when her husband Matt wrote to tell me she has battled six different cancers over the span of 25 years. Matt and Kenon thought they had 'beat' breast cancer last year, but recently she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and a tumor on her liver. The outlook appears grim, but she is brimming with an unshakable joy of the Lord (Kenon shared how much A Place of Healing has helped her)! Please pray that her specialized treatments will halt these most recent cancers. And if you'd like to bless a friend going through a serious illness, consider giving them A Place of Healing… Kenon would give it a double 'thumbs up.'

I just put your video of Arise my soul and sing. I know that no matter what the circumstance that people have in their lives right now, this song will help them through what ever they are going through.

This book is a blessing to me. I usually read it when I wake in the middle of the night hurting. It gets my focus right back where it needs to be. There is rest in the Savior. May He be glorified in all things we go thru. Love you Joni! Keep going! He is coming! virginia

Kennon is a dear friend of our daughter, Katherine Magnuson. She was in Katherine and Ken's wedding 26 years ago. Dressing she discovered the 'first cancerous lump'. We have been prayerfully with her all these years. She is amazing, truly, as are you, Joni! Thank you for your ministry to us all!

Praying for Kenon. A Place of Healing I have giving to so many people. I myself have it on my Kindle but I had to get the hardback so I could make notes, underline etc. Make the book mine as a reference when ministering to others. May our Lord of Lords continue to bless abundantly Joni and Friends and outreach

Dear Joni, What a witness for Christ you and Ken have been and are today. I will pray for you and your courageous friend Kenon and husband Matt. No doubt your book A Place Of Healing, has helped many who face terminal battles in life. In Christ we are all God's new creation...and the battle is no longer ours. Sincerely in His Love, Miriam

Joni, I will certainly pray for your friend Kenon. She sounds like a remarkable person and I hope that she will finally be awarded the good health that she so deserves. "Health is Wealth," as the old saying goes. I will be praying for her husband too. God Bless her and her family and you and Ken too, Joni. Nicole

I am re-reading this book for about the fifth time. It brings new encouragement every time. I will be praying for your dear friend Kenon. I live with pain that I think: "I can't go on another day with", but I have never had to endure cancer. Bless her heart. I am looking forward to your new book coming out Joni. I have it pre-ordered :)

I have a friend who has seen her health slowly decline over the last 20 years due to Multiple Sclerosis. Her debilitated condition didn't help when she was also diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago. She and her husband showed remarkable strength and faith through her treatment and victory over cancer, but she continues to lose muscle and mental capacity from the MS. It is so sad. Her next recovery will be when she sees Jesus and throws away her failed body! I need to get them this book!
