joni being interviewed by PBSJoni was interviewed by PBS Religion & Ethics for their television program, which was aired this week. Joni had the chance to talk about what she has learned through her current journey with cancer and how the Word of God has sustained her.

Joni,i watched this video today and after watching, the first thought was-You are here for God's glory,because when world and light-minded christian like me look at You,He can says:"Here is my daugther Joni and she trusts and believes Me whatever happen to her,she stays faithful to Me." honestly,i can say,i didn't realize how serious is the situation,i looked with pink glasses,without understanding how heavy this is for You.Joni,thank You that You are,thank You for Your blog and updates,i watch it almost every day. and finally this is something that help me-God knows what He does.and no doubt that He knows why He allows You go through all sufferings,You are here for God's glory.

What a great and honest interview. As children, many of us sang "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine." Dear Joni, you are such a wonderful example of Matt. 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Love in Christ Kari Prv 3:5-6

Dear Joni, We watched your recent interview on PBS and were so moved to tears as we really felt for you. It must be so hard to stay strong in the midst of all the difficulties that you are experiencing. We know what its like to be in despair and to feel so weary and tired of the struggle every minute of the day. But the Lord will give grace and strength to both you and us as we lean on him. He has promised to be with us and to never leave nor forsake us, and God doesn't and cannot lie. We pray that He will enable you to face the future with hope and to help you through this difficult and dark time. Remember that the Lord is in control and there are no mistakes with him. He works ALL things together for our good, no matter how hard they seem to be. Look up to him and he will sustain you. With all our love xxx

Joni and Ken, I am so thankful for your faithful witness, and am praying for you as you take this difficult journey. Thank you for continuing to share your faith in the midst of this trial, it is a real encouragement to me. The other day I was reminded of a hymn I had not heard since my youth, "Tell It to Jesus" It reminded me of how I used to tell everything to Jesus and need to still do that as life sometimes presses too hard. I can see from your blogs that you and Ken tell it to Jesus and receive from Him strength and courage for the moment, the hour and the day. Thank you, and may the Lord continue to heal, lead and bless you both.

"Our present sufferings will not be worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us" Romans 8:18.
