Woman reading e devotionalMandy, a subscriber to Joni's e-devotional, wrote, “My husband and I read the devotions sent from this site as part of our morning ritual. He was deployed for a year to Afghanistan, and being able to read those devotions each day together made us feel not so far away from each other… We are so very thankful for your service to the Lord, that has heaped encouragement upon encouragement not only to us, but to all the lives your ministry has encountered. Thank you, Mandy.” Joni’s three award-winning devotional books inspire readers around the world– Diamonds in the Dust, More Precious than Silver, and Pearls of Great Price. You can enjoy the same rich insights from God's Word with Joni’s free e-devotionals – it’s the same great content, only in electronic form sent every morning to your computer, phone, or iPad. Christ-centered encouragement is yours for the asking – sign up today!

I used to get regular notes and information - and requests for support of your ministries. I've read and shared your books. Somehow we have lost touch. I do not know how long The God I Love was sitting unread on a bookshelf. It is now part of my morning prayer and also other times during the day. I'm retired so I cannot contribute as I used to, but I thank you for getting me closer to God.

I have read your devotionals in my email for many years and I also have printed copies of some of them. They lift my spirits and I enjoy your insights. I can't tell you how many times I have sent the links to others! Thank you!

Dear Joni, Yes, the words God gave you ministered to me too. I reflected on the severe testings that God helped me endure in my Christian walk (and that I am still enduring) -- as I read the devotional for today. It blessed me so much that I forwarded it off to my Priest! AMEN. :)

What a beautiful story about Mandy and her husband. I want to thank you for your devotions also. This morning I read "The Price of Identifying" and it was "right on time" believe me. I have been in exceptional pain the past couple of weeks with Fibromyalgia. Distracting pain which I know you understand. So this devotion just "centered me" and I feel so much better. Thanks Joni.

Joni I read some of your stories this morning and wanted to share. My husband was born with his left arm being off just passed his elbow. He has always had a bright outlook on life. He swims, fixes flat tires, builds things and what have you. He has been in just about every field of work you can imagine and today he is a certified truck driver. He was on disability for 10 years and then decided he did not want to just sit on the couch and become useless, he went to CDL training and now drives a Big Rig with his prosthetic arm. [He would not use that if trucking companies did not require. ] We have four wonderful children and 2 grandchildren and God has been so good to us. Yes we have had a lot of ups and downs, but God has seen us through each one of them. Oh, did I mention that He is also an ordained minister ? We have been married 44 years in Sept. 2011 and I have yet to hear him complain one time or question God about his handicap. God Is Good.
