This Week: Joni and Doug in Nashville for NRB

joni eareckson tada and doug mazzaDoug Mazza, president and COO of Joni and Friends, will be joining Joni in Nashville, Tennessee for the National Religious Broadcasters board meeting. Doug was elected to the national NRB board in 2011 and will serve alongside Joni, long-term board member, as well as 70 other nationally prominent Christian leaders who influence the media for Christ’s kingdom. Last year, Joni’s one-minute daily radio feature was awarded “NRB’s Radio Program of the Year.” On Tuesday evening, February 21st, Joni will be inducted into the “NRB Hall of Fame” at this year’s awards banquet. The entire Joni and Friends team is grateful to God that Joni and Doug have the honor of helping to shape policies and directives in Christian media through their participation on the NRB board – please pray for them during this week’s board meetings.

You go sister! I'm so blessed to be born again, and so I rejoice in the outstanding ministry you do Joni for our savior and Friend, our Lord Jesus. Next time your in Maryland, please stop by Bishop Cummins. Pastor David Crumm is doing such a work for our Lord and His Gospel. He is a powerful man of our Lord in faith and love. And he preaches the truth with great joy and boldness. Even though I'm more a Baptist Reformed brother, and so is my wife, we love to attend and help out at Bishop Cummins Episcopal Reformed. Lord bless you Joni, especially tonight as the Body of Christ honors you for your love for Christ, and for your faith and testimony. Amen.

Thank you for your life and ministry all these years. We got to see you at a Camping Convention many years ago..we had to change rooms because so many wanted to hear you speak. I think it was in Nashville at the Oprayland Hotel if I'm not mistaken. God continue to bless and use you.

I was 16 when my discipler told me about you. Did you record an album? I'm not sure. But my choir director then gave me a tape of a female singer. He wanted me to learn the songs. I'm thinking it was your songs. The last time I read a book about you was nearly 15 years ago. Two days ago, I remembered you. I don't know why. Then I saw you on Facebook. You look so happy and beautiful. D:

Joni, I just want to say thank you for giving to the Lord, You have truely helped thosands give their lives to Him. I myself being in a car wreck understand sometimes the pain you go through but you know I can still walk, So when I look at you and all you are doing for the Lords work it makes me think I really need to do more! Those sparking blue eyes you have really shine with God's Holy Spirit, So again I say thankyou!
