On Monday, January 24, Joni and Ken spoke at the first "Theology of Suffering and Disability" class at Talbot Seminary on the campus of Biola University. The idea for this groundbreaking one-week intensive was spearheaded by Dr. Kathy McReynolds of our Joni and Friends' Christian Institute on Disability. The CID team is dedicated to developing partnerships with other seminaries and Bible colleges across the country through curriculum development and disability-ministry courses of study. Next week Joni and Ken will be traveling to Moody Bible Institute and Ozark Christian College, planting seeds in the hearts of students to consider disability ministry as a career. Be praying for Dr. McReynolds as she teaches at Talbot this week, and for Joni and Ken as they prepare for next week's ministry in Illinois and Missouri – and don't forget to drop by our Day-by-Day Prayer page and join us in lifting up specific needs before the Throne.
