I met the Barrick family at Lake Ave. Church, Pasadena. Just meeting them I felt the love of Jesus from each one. They challenged me to live more for the Lord, and you and your husband Ken, are a blessing to me, Joni. God loves you and so do I. Paul Baxter

Praise God for the two of you and what you are a witness to. His marvelous love, grace, strength, and faithfulness. Only a God like this has this love and mercy to carry you through whatever circumstance or storm. You both radiate God's power sources if you just plug in with HIM....thank you so much for your testimonies of what God is and can do.

This story brought tears to my soul. It also reminds me of how life can change in an instant. I realize that each and every day I am blessed and Kept by the Grace and love of us. I have always admired Joni and I now add the young lady. May God continue to bless comfort and empower you both. Love to you.

Astounding. I just saw Jennifer for the first time this morning on Fox News being interviewed with her mom. Never heard her story and here she is again. Her accident happened the same year that Whitney Cerak was in the Taylor University accident and was misidentified as Laura Van Ryn, thus it was believed that Whitney was dead. Whitney, however, was in a coma also for 5 weeks and upon recovery did they realize who she really was. Interesting parallels. When I saw Jennifer on the news this morning, I was at the Cerak's taking care of Whitney's grandmother! How "coincidental"!

I have read the book and it's incredible. I am familiar with the Barrick family as I live in Lynchburg and attended the same bible study that Linda Barrick was leading. God's presence and faithfulness in Jen's life is awesome and really lifted my faith to new levels.
